As part of our ongoing growth plans, we now require a highly motivated and disciplined individual to operate as an Area Supervisor covering from Sheffield
You will support the supervision of our car parking operations across the region, with responsibility for a team of Mobile Patrol Officers and Car Park Attendants, ensuring efficient and effective operation of all car parking and related activities across your region. Other duties will include maintaining site standards; ensuring adherence to all on-site contractual obligations, staff rota planning, recruitment, training, development and performance management of all staff.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring that correct staffing levels and correct rotas are in place for all staff on every shift
- Recruitment, induction, training and performance management of all staff, and managing disciplinary issues in line with site and Company policy
- Identification and resolution of any site related car parking/security issues
- Maintenance of corporate and on-site standards
- Ensuring the security of all equipment and stock entrusted to the sites
- Carrying out regular external patrols of the car parks in your region
- Responding to car park incidents
- Reporting any untoward incidents concerning members of staff to the Area Manager
- Reporting any equipment/machinery faults to the Area Manager/Head Office
- Checking and maintaining the operational capability and ticket levels of on-site payment equipment
- Completion and submission of all relevant reports and returns in line with Company policy and procedures
- Monitoring performance, service and quality of the Company’s sites and staff and taking all pertinent action to communicate/advise and assist in line with the Company standards
- Implementing all necessary communications strategies for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all regional sites
- Liaison with Car Park Attendants and senior management in terms of all car park operations, standards, discipline, training and development
- Interviewing and recruiting new staff when detailed or required to do so
- Ensuring Car Park Attendants are made aware of and at all times comply with all Company procedures and complete duties accordingly
- Undertaking any additional duties as requested by the Area Manager
- Management of car park/security incidents including attendance/escalation of any incident and liaison with the required emergency services as appropriate
- Liaison with all Head Office/Company departments to ensure smooth set up and operation of all new and current sites.
We require a highly driven and ambitious ‘character’ with initiative and strong leadership skills gained from running a team across a wide geographical territory, who also has the ability to work as part of the regional team.
You must hold a valid full manual UK Driving license with a minimum of a year’s experience post qualification to apply for this position.
An SIA licence in CCTV operations would be desirable but is not essential
You will work 5 out of 7 days on a rota system as per business needs, contracted to 40 hours per week, including some evening and weekend working. Overtime and a consistent performance award are available.
Starting salary will be c. £25,000 – £27,500.00 and all equipment, uniform and training will be provided.
